EXMED Health & Wellness Consultancy

Together to a healthier, happier, productive life.

EXMED Health and Wellness Consultancy helps organisations, individuals, and young people build lasting wellbeing — in body, mind, and spirit. No fads, no quick fixes, no unrealistic expectations.

How we work

Health is not a one-off event, so our support is not a one-off service.

  1. Anticipate
Understand your current health picture, build healthy daily habits, keep up regular check-ups, and spot warning signs early.
  2. Empower
Turn knowledge into habit through coaching, structured programmes, workshops, and practical everyday tools.
  3. Sustain
Review goals regularly, stay accountable, and connect with trusted professionals when clinical care is needed.

Whole-person wellbeing: mental wellbeing, physical health, and the everyday lifestyle choices that shape both.

Programmes for employers

Start with what you need today. Add modules as your organisation’s needs grow.

CORE PROGRAMME

Workplace Wellbeing Programme

Our foundation offer for employers, built around your workforce and delivered on site or virtually through workshops, wellness challenges, and coaching.

Mental wellbeing at work

Practical, evidence-based support that helps employers and employees manage stress, prevent burnout, and build resilience.

Physical health

Programmes that help staff move more, eat better, and build the everyday habits that keep teams healthy and productive.

Wellbeing and skills development

Workshops and training tailored to your organisation that encourage lasting behaviour change and support your business goals.

What it delivers: a healthier, more engaged workforce, with fewer lifestyle-related sick days.

Specialised modules

Add any of these to the core programme, or take them on their own.

  • Wellness Strategy Consulting

We design your full wellness strategy: employee needs surveys, priorities and policies, a programme plan for the year, and reporting on results.

Delivers a clear, costed wellness plan and the evidence to show leadership what it achieved.
  • Chronic Disease Prevention at Work

Our 12-week lifestyle change programme, delivered in the workplace for employees at risk of, or living with, conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Delivers lower long-term health costs and fewer employees lost to preventable illness.
  • HIV Awareness & Workplace Support

Education that reduces stigma, builds understanding, and encourages employees to know their status and stay on treatment. Where testing or treatment is needed, we connect employees with trusted health services.

Delivers a workplace where employees feel supported, and better continuity of care.
  • Manager & Leadership Training

Training that equips managers and supervisors to recognise early signs of stress and burnout in their teams, respond with confidence, and build a healthier culture.

Delivers managers who spot problems early instead of discovering them at resignation.
  • Programmes for Medical Aid Schemes & Insurers

We design and deliver prevention and wellness programmes for scheme members, helping them stay healthier and helping schemes manage long-term health costs.

Delivers healthier members and a measurable reduction in avoidable claims.
  • Not sure which fits?

Tell us about your workforce and what you are trying to change. We will suggest a starting point and a realistic plan for the year, with no obligation.

INSPIRE: our programme for young people

Habits formed in adolescence shape health for decades. INSPIRE runs through schools, churches, youth groups, and community organisations — as a full six-module series or one module at a time, with the language and examples adapted to the age group in the room.

  • Identity & Self-Worth

Who am I, and what am I worth? Building a sense of self that does not depend on approval, appearance, or comparison — and looking honestly at the pressures that shape how young people see themselves.

  • Mental Health & Personal Growth

Understanding emotions, managing stress and exam pressure, building resilience after setbacks, and recognising when a struggle is more than a bad week. We teach young people how to ask for help and who to ask.

  • Life Skills & Future Preparation

The practical skills school does not always teach: setting goals and working toward them, managing time, communicating clearly, resolving conflict, choosing a direction, and preparing for work or further study.

  • Economic Empowerment

Money habits start young. Earning, saving, budgeting, and the difference between wants and needs, with an introduction to entrepreneurship, employability, and the job market young people are entering.

  • Technology & Digital Life

Living well with phones and social media: screen time and sleep, privacy and personal safety online, online pressure and misinformation, cyberbullying, and how comparison affects mood and self-image.

  • Substance Use Awareness & Prevention

An honest look at why young people start using alcohol and drugs, how to refuse and leave a situation safely, and the wide damage it does:

    • Health — a brain still developing, with lasting effects on memory, judgement, and mental health
    • Education — attendance, grades, and exclusion close doors that are hard to reopen
    • Family and friendships — broken trust and isolation that deepens the problem
    • Money and prospects — funds diverted from needs, opportunities lost
    • Freedom — legal consequences that follow a young person into adult life

How INSPIRE is delivered

Assemblies
A single session on one module for a whole school or youth group.
Full term series
Six weekly sessions, where the deepest change happens.
Holiday camps
Intensive multi-day formats during school holidays.
Peer leader training
Older students equipped to lead their peers after we leave.
Parents and teachers
Because young people do best when the adults are part of it.

Safeguarding. All INSPIRE work with under-18s is delivered with the consent and involvement of the school or organisation, under their safeguarding policy, and never with a young person alone and unsupervised. The substance use module is educational and preventive: we do not name or compare substances, and we do not treat addiction. Where a young person needs help, we work with the school to connect them and their family with appropriate health services.

Registration and parent / guardian consent

Nothing is published here for young people to sign themselves. When a school or organisation books INSPIRE, we issue the registration and parent/guardian consent forms to them, and the school distributes them to families and collects the signed copies. Written parent or guardian consent is required for every participant under 18.

The turning point came when I realised that wellness is not one-size-fits-all.
Dr. Kamau Medical Doctor and Founder

Our story

Health and wellness are more than concepts to me; they are the foundation of a well-lived life. But I didn’t always live that way.

There was a time when I, like so many others, felt overwhelmed by stress, fatigue, and the constant pressures of modern life. I was doing everything I thought was “right”: following popular diets, going to the gym when I could, and trying to balance my personal and professional responsibilities. Yet something was missing. I wasn’t thriving; I was just getting by.

Drawing on my medical background, research, and firsthand experience, I discovered the power of balance, mindful choices, and intentional living. That transformation changed my life, and it gave me a passion to help others find the same freedom and vitality.

That is why I founded EXMED Health and Wellness Consultancy: to be a trusted guide for individuals and organisations seeking real, sustainable health solutions. This is more than a business; it is a mission.

Why work with us

Our scope. Our services focus on education, coaching, and prevention. They do not include diagnosis, testing, prescribing, or the treatment of addiction, and they complement, rather than replace, medical care or clinical mental health treatment. Where a client needs clinical support, we refer them to an appropriate healthcare professional.
